U. S. President Barack Obama celebrated Canada, rallied the fight against inequality and jumped into the fractious presidential race in an extraordinary speech to Parliament Wednesday that had politicians cheering, applauding and wanting more.

In what is certain to be his last official visit to Canada before he leaves the White House, Obama turned in a memorable performance Wednesday that had politicians and dignitaries packed into a sweltering House of Commons repeatedly rising to their feet for standing ovations.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau welcomed Obama to Parliament, “to our house.” The prime minister reflected on the history that had been made in the chamber and now, he quipped, “gets to see a bromance up close.”

'If I need to find another employee it is so easy.'

That blunt message delivered within a missive from a PermaCorp manager has drawn ire online over recent weeks and has forced the Edmonton industrial manufacturing company to backtrack.
The message written on an office whiteboard at the company that employs about 80 people was photographed and posted online recently.

The message begins with the declaration of "Why you should be thankful for your job at PermaCorp" and then lists off the reasons — including the fact, according to the manager, that they receive a lot of resumes.

(Photo by William Van Hecke/Corbis via Getty Images)World Champion, Lionel Messi has announced his resignation from International football after losing to Chile in a penalty shootout in the Copa America final last night, BBC reports.

“It’s not meant for me. For me the national team is over. I’ve done all I can, it hurts not to be a champion,” the 29-year-old forward said.

The Argentina team has lost in 3 Copa America final games in the last 9 years – two to Chile on penalties and one to Brazil in 2007. The team also lost the 2014 World Cup final game to Germany after an extra time goal by Mario Gotze.

“It’s been four finals, I tried. It was the thing I wanted the most, but I couldn’t get it, so I think it’s over.

I think this is best for everyone. First of all for me, and then for everyone. I think there’s a lot of people who want this, who obviously are not satisfied, as we are not satisfied reaching a final and not winning it.

It’s very hard, but the decision is taken. Now I will not try more and there will be no going back,” he added.

Microsoft Edge takes on Chrome, Opera and Firefox with claims of 53% Longer Battery Life

Microsoft has unveiled experiments to show that a PC running Microsoft Edge lasts 70% longer than Chrome, 43% longer than Firefox Firefox, and 17% longer than Opera (with Battery Saver enabled).

In a new blog post, the Platform team director Jason Weber explained how Edge can help save your computer or tablet battery.

We designed Microsoft Edge from the ground up to prioritize power efficiency and deliver more battery life, without any special battery saving mode or changes to the default settings… Our testing and data show that you can simply browse longer with Microsoft Edge than with Chrome, Firefox, or Opera on Windows 10 devices.

They also made a video showing where  they performed three separate tests and Microsoft compared Edge with the other three leading internet browsers: Chrome, Firefox and Opera. One of tests they carried out was a time-lapse videos of all four browsers performing the same tasks at once.
