Uproxx reports- The show began with a Seth Rollins promo. John Cena interrupted to attack, but Rollins escaped into the crowd. While in the crowd, Rollins was attacked by Dean Ambrose. Rollins tried to flee back INTO the ring, and Ambrose ended up jumping the security railing onto Rollins and Cena. Triple H made Ambrose and Cena vs. Rollins, Kane and Randy Orton as the night’s 3-on-2 handicap main event.

1. The Usos and Dolph Ziggler defeated Goldust, Stardust and Cesaro. Stardust lost the match for his team after a triple superkick and a top rope splash.

- Adam Rose escorted Kathie Lee and Hoda from The Today Show to the ring. They sat on chairs and drank wine before dancing and doing trust falls.

2. Bo Dallas defeated Mark Henry. Henry tried to put Bo through the announce table with a World’s Strongest Slam, but Bo escaped and slid back into the ring to win by countout.

- Dean Ambrose decided he’d rather go to Coney Island and get food than be Cena’s tag team partner. He left the arena and got on a subway train, making the main event a 3-on-1 handicap match.

3. Brie Bella defeated Summer Rae. Nikki Bella set up the match so that Brie had to wrestle with one hand tied behind her back. Brie hit Summer Rae with a knee to the face for the win.

Here are your quick and dirty, editorial-free WWE Raw results for September 29, 2014. The episode featured a tag team main-event pairing John Cena and Dean Ambrose against Randy Orton and Kane. Also, lots of “CM Punk” chants, because they’re in Chicago.

- The show opened with The Authority calling Chicago “quitters” for chanting CM Punk. They were interrupted by Paul Heyman and then Seth Rollins, leading to an apology for Rollins trying to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase at Night Of Champions. Dean Ambrose appeared on the TitanTron with Rollins’ stolen briefcase and taunted Seth to find him and get it back. John Cena then ran out and attacked Rollins.

1. Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship: Dolph Ziggler (c) defeated Cesaro and The Miz. The Miz jumped off the top rope and got caught with a European uppercut from Cesaro. Ziggler superkicked Cesaro out of the ring and covered Miz to retain the championship.

- “New Stooges” Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble went on a wacky goose chase around the arena looking for Dean Ambrose.

Despite five Superstars looking to rearrange The Face of WWE into an unrecognizable mush, Orton retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship inside the Elimination Chamber Sunday night – though he certainly has Kane and The Wyatt Family to thank, in part, for hand-delivering him a pair of get-out-of-jail-free cards inside Satan’s Prison.
