London commuters joined daring commuters across the world today January 12th in stripping off and hopping on the Tube for 'No Pants On The Tube Day'. his year, the day was celebrated on Sunday, January 11th. Some of the cities that participated in the celebrations include San Francisco, Prague, London, and New York, My San Antonio reports.

The tradition began first started as a prank a few years ago, but has since become “a global celebration of bare thighs,” CBC News reports.

A Scottish nurse who has become the first person diagnosed with Ebola in the UK is being transferred to London for specialist medical care, according to Sky sources.

The woman returned to Scotland after a spell working in Sierra Leone and arrived at Glasgow Airport on a British Airways flight at around 11.30pm on Sunday.

The patient - understood to have been volunteering for Save The Children - was admitted to hospital early on Monday morning after feeling unwell and was placed into isolation at 7.50am. She is in a stable condition.

An unprecedented computer systems failure touched off the recent mayhem that caused delays and cancelled flights for thousands of passengers, the U.K.-based air traffic management company said Saturday.

In its first detailed explanation of the computer glitch that led to flight disruptions Friday, NATS said the problems at its control centre in Swanwick occurred as more workstations were being brought on line to deal with an increase in traffic.

“In normal operations the number of workstations in use versus in standby fluctuates with the demands of the traffic being controlled,” NATS said in a statement. “In this instance a transition between the two states caused a failure in the system which has not been seen before.”

The Duchess of Cambridge has become the muse of a street artist who spray-painted a picture of her, pregnant and naked, on the wall of an art gallery in London.  The artist has been revealed as a 29-year-old American called Pegasus.

The painting shows Kate Middleton covering her modesty with her hands (in a similar pose to that of Demi Moore, Christina Aguilera & more). There is also a miniature crown resting on her bump and for some reason the words ‘Game of Thrones’ are underneath.
