Another 124 people were injured in the explosion on the outskirts of Abuja, national police spokesman Frank Mba said. The Nyanya Motor Park bus station was crowded with early morning commuters.

ESPN announced Wednesday that Drake will host the 2014 ESPYs live on July 16th in Los Angeles.

The rapper revealed his new gig via Twitter with an altered photo of last year's Nothing Was the Same cover replacing himself as a child with a drawing of the award.

Air Canada Wi-Fi to be Available Across North America

Air Canada is introducing Wi-Fi access to dozens of its aircraft beginning in May, with the aim of making wireless internet available on 130 of its narrow-bodied, North American aircraft by the end of 2015.

Computer Bug Forces Canadian Revenue Agency Shut Down

A confounding computer bug called "Heartbleed" is causing major security headaches across the Internet as websites scramble to fix the problem and Web surfers wonder whether they should change their passwords to prevent theft of their email accounts, credit card numbers and other sensitive information.

The breakdown revealed this week affects a widely used encryption technology that is supposed to protect online accounts for a variety of online communications and electronic commerce.

Security researchers who uncovered the threat are particularly worried about the lapse because it went undetected for more than two years. They fear the possibility that computer hackers may have been secretly exploiting the problem before its discovery.

Although there is now a way to close the security hole, there are still plenty of reasons to be concerned, said David Chartier, CEO of Codenomicon. A small team from the Finnish security firm diagnosed Heartbleed while working independently from another Google Inc. researcher who also discovered the threat.

Justice Minister Peter MacKay says he will introduce new prostitution legislation this spring that aims to protect and help those who've been forced into the sex trade.

"We know there is tremendous violence and vulnerability associated with prostitution. Prostitutes are predominately victims.

"They have very much in some cases run out of options before entering this particular pursuit and with that in mind, our focus is going to be on protecting the vulnerable," said MacKay, speaking to reporters Monday outside an event marking National Victims of Crime Awareness Week.

Lesbians' baby baptized by Catholic Church in Argentina

Umma Azul, whose godmother is the county's President, on Saturday became the first child of a lesbian couple to be baptized by the Catholic Church in Argentina.

Carina Villarroel and Soledad Ortiz asked Archbishop Carlos Jose Nanez for the blessing, according to national news agency Telam. The bishop reportedly said their marital status has no bearing on the child.

 

A priest performed the baptism at the cathedral in Cordoba, Telam said.

 

Same-sex marriage has been legal in Argentina since 2010, but is not sanctioned by the Catholic Church.

McDonald’s is under federal investigation over possible abuses of the Temporary Foreign Worker program at a franchise outlet in B.C.

"The pattern is that the temporary foreign workers are getting more shifts and that the Canadians are getting less,” said employee Kalen Christ, a McDonald’s "team leader" who has worked at the Victoria location for four years.

As a result of Go Public’s inquiries, the government has suspended all pending foreign worker permits for the three McDonald’s locations owned by franchisee Glen Bishop and has blacklisted his franchise from using the program, pending the outcome of the probe.
