Mick Jagger and L'Wren Scott - his 'lover and best friend' - had been together since 2001Family and friends of fashion designer L'Wren Scott have attended her private funeral in Los Angeles, where partner Sir Mick Jagger led the tributes.
A family spokesperson confirmed the service at Hollywood Forever Funeral Home included "memories and words of tribute" from the Rolling Stones singer and Scott's brother Randy Bambrough.
Sir Mick's daughters and grandchildren also gave readings.
Scott took her own life in her New York apartment on 17 March.
Around 70 people are thought to have attended the 49-year-old's funeral, which also featured words from talent agent Justinian Kfoury, costume designer Ira M Hammons-Glass and O Magazine's creative director Adam Glassman.
Sir Mick's spokesperson said poems were shared by actress Ellen Barkin and Jagger's daughter Karis, while his daughter Jade and grandchildren Mazie and Zak read psalms
The gospel song Will The Circle Be Unbroken was performed by singer Bernard Fowler with Dave Stewart on guitar, and Scott's niece Hannah Bambrough gave a reading of Shakespeare's sonnet Shall I Compare Thee To A Summer's Day?
Scott had been in a relationship with Sir Mick since 2001 and designed stage outfits for the Rolling Stones when they performed at Glastonbury Festival and Hyde Park last summer.
Scott's high-end fashion label was a favourite among Hollywood stars including Nicole Kidman, Tina Fey and Sarah Jessica Parker, and her designs have been worn by Michelle Obama.
However it emerged after her death that the label was experiencing financial problems and the designer had recently cancelled her London Fashion Week show, citing production delays.
Her death was ruled suicide by hanging by a medical examiner in New York.
In a statement following the news, Sir Mick said he failed "to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way".
Last week, the band cancelled the Australia and New Zealand leg of their world tour.
