British Columbia Premier Christy Clark trolls Toronto Maple Leafs fans on Twitter. On Tuesday, following news stories that three spectators were charged in Toronto for tossing jerseys onto the ice during the Leafs’ 4-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes, the Twitter account of B.C.’s premier tweeted cheekily that most Canadians would rather be arrested than wear a Leafs jersey. The Maple Leafs have lost five games in a row and 13 of their previous 16. See below her humorous tweet;
