Devoted husband Bob Lee lost his specially inscribed wedding band 25 years ago, and he's finally been reunited with it!
Last Thursday, Ginger Carter, vice president of branch operations for Bowater Employees Credit Union in Calhoun, was in vice president of marketing Kim Gunter's office when she made the discovery.
Ginger bumped up against a paperclip in the cushions, then jokingly dug further in both her chair as well as the one next to it, and lo and behold, there was a gold wedding band with two people's initials and the date 3-18-61!
So, they surveyed the office to see if anyone could identify the ring, and Glenna Pritchett, chief financial officer for the credit union, was right on the money! Bob was previously on the credit union's board of directors.
