Lorena Rojas Telemundo/Second Chance star actress dies of cancer at 44

If you're a telenovela fan and watched Second Chance, then you should know Lorena Rojas. The Mexican actress and singer played the lead role in the popular 2005 telemundo series, “El Cuerpo del Deseo.” - aka 'Second Chance'.

She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 but recovered only for it to come back in 2012. This time in her bones. She dealt with the cancer the best way she could until in November 2014 when she was diagnosed yet again. This time the disease had gone to her liver.

She died yesterday February 16th at her home in Miami surrounded by her family, daughter, and her boyfriend. She was just 44 years old. May her soul rest in peace, amen.

On fairytales about relationships that little girls are taught:

Yeah, well, that’s what we’re taught when we’re little. Little girls are taught that especially. Prince Charming is gonna come along. You’re going to live happily ever after, and then that doesn’t happen. You have your first boyfriend in high school and that falls apart and you’re like, “What’s going on?” [Laughs.] All of these things get shattered one by one. It’s so unfair.

Actress Jennifer Aniston Reactions to Oscar Snub

Jennifer Aniston isn't eating cake by her lonesome. Hours after it was revealed that she had been snubbed by the Oscars, the Cake actress joined several other A-listers at the Critics' Choice Awards in L.A. on Thursday, Jan. 15, appearing to be just fine.

"I'd be lying if there wasn't a little [aw], but after that there's a lot of, 'but look at tonight, look at the Globes, look at the SAGs!'" Aniston, 45, told Access Hollywood on the red carpet. "We're an embarrassment of wonderful riches [for] a movie that hasn't even been released and is teensy tiny. This is all just cherries on top of something that was really special to us. So we're really excited."

Despite the snub, Aniston was nominated for a Golden Globe and Critics' Choice Award for her work. (Moore came out on top in both.) In addition, she has also received support from her famous pals Witherspoon and Moore since the Oscars announcement. "[Reese] sent me such a sweet email, as did Julianne [Moore].

Residents in a block of flats were horrified when they complained that the water tasted ‘funny’ – and were told that the unusual flavour was due to the rotting corpse of a young woman in the water tank.Police said that the wannabe actress’s body was in a ‘high state of putrefaction’, and had been missing for almost a year.

Carmen Yarira Noriega Esparza, 27, who had graduated as a psychologist and dreamed of an acting career was last seen leaving her gym in the Mexican capital Mexico City in February last year.

After police inquiries failed to turn up anything, friends and family began a campaign on social media to try and find her, as well as taking to the streets to post up her photographs in the hope that someone might recognise her.

Another Naya Rivera Blunder 'White People Shower More Than Ethnics'

Actress and singer Naya Rivera came under fire Tuesday after she said only “white people” have regular showers.

“White people shower a lot more than ethnics,” the 28-year-old star said during an appearance on The View.

“I feel like showering more than once a day, or every day, is such a white people thing.”

Rivera said her mom is “half black, half Puerto Rican [and] she showers every day so I can say this.”

She caused quite a stir while on ‘The View’ yesterday morning when the Glee star revealed that she only showers once every few days.

According to her ‘ethnic’ people don’t shower as much white people and when her white husband showers once, twice a day she looks at him like ‘What are you doing?

Forbes has released its annual 30 Under 30 lists, one of which honours young adults who are “changing Hollywood.” This year, three Canadians landed a spot on the coveted catalogue – television star Tatiana Maslany, actress Ellen Page and Epic Meal Time creator Harley Morenstein.

Tatiana, 29, has earned accolades for playing an astonishing eight different characters (with several different accents) on the Canadian sci-fi series Orphan Black.

Halifax-native Ellen, 27, was selected because she “bravely took a stand” by publicly coming out as a gay woman during a conference last February. Since then, the Oscar-nominated actress has graced countless magazine covers, including W and Flare.

Lastly, Montreal-born Harley, 29, is responsible for “creating one of the most popular online shows," boasting more than 6.6 million followers on his YouTube channel, Epic Meal Time.

Actress Ellen Page is calling out Queen Elizabeth for honouring anti-gay politician, Maurice Mills, in her 2015 New Year's Honours list. The list, which features over 1,000 names from public figures to politicians, credits the controversial Irish councillor for his “services to local government.”

Ellen, who came out to the world last February, did not hold back her feelings when she tweeted "f**k that" in response to an article on the issue earlier today.
