What Are We Doing in Canada to Prevent Sexual Assault on Campus?

Recently in the U.S., the Federal government has taken a strong zero tolerance stance on sexual assault. The introduction of Title IX has caused universities in the U.S to take a more pronounced, principled position with regard to the matter. Title IX is a part of the Education Amendments of 1972 that protects people from sex-based discrimination in education programs that receive federal monetary assistance. In contrast to the U.S., in Canada, sexual assault is a matter dealt with by the state and is not left in the hands of universities to judge the fate of the victim or the perpetrator.

In the U.S., a sexual assault survivor can choose whether they would like the incident managed by the university or the state. In Canada, universities are not left with the arduous task of deciding the fate of the victim or the perpetrator. Since the introduction of Title IX, universities in the U.S. have now created prevention, education, and awareness programs to help shine light on what is tragically affecting one in four women during their time at post-secondary education.

This increased intervention in sexual assault on university campuses made me wonder -- are we doing enough in Canada to prevent similar outcomes? Are we doing enough to prevent sexual assault and ensuring the safety of young women in our country? Very few universities in Canada offer any sort of education surrounding consent, definitions of sexual assault, resources or awareness about the matter. In addition, very few universities even have sexual assault centres or sexual assault counselors at the university. Does this mean that sexual assault does not exist on Canadian campuses?

Putting An End To Sexual Abuse

Excerpt from GANG RAPE, GANGSTER AND MS. PEPPLES. PART 3

We cannot deal with rape at the surface; identifying the crime and punishing the criminal would not deter newer vices. But first we need to understand the root of the problem and change the conditions that lead to such criminal behavior.

First, it has debated severally the extent to how women contribute to the menace. Yes we all know it is so rampant in our society where a woman dresses to appeal to a man’s libido than his senses. I like to suggest that men have right to report women who dress too provocative (especially in neighborhoods, school of learning and the workplace). This can be anonymous reporting like whistleblowing initiatives most forward thinking organizations set up for employees to report workplace issues without any reprisal.

On the flipside, all progressive nations need to have a special dedicated emergency number to report any form of sexual assaults (rape/sexual assault hotline)’. This service must be secured, and aim to improve reporting. It amazes me that less than 40% of sexual assaults are reported or brought to light. This line of reporting would bypass family, friends or society stigmatization, where practice investigators would securely carry out a criminal investigation and bring convicted culprits to justice.

Afterwards, culprits be publicly named, shamed and maimed- leave no options for anyone who intend to end another. I am thinking the penalty for rape is not stringent enough, and that’s the more reason men can never be careful until we change the law. I support capital punishment for culprits, or at least life in imprisonment, this will send a good note of advice to others who can reason or tend to err.

Sex Education: 12 Types of Sex People Have on Daily Basis

I got to thinking; how many kinds of sex are there? Oh, come on, you know you were wondering too!
Let us begin.

First Time Sex -- It's usually clumsy at best and unless you are a good communicator (screaming God's name doesn't count) then you will most likely not get the most satisfying result. That's politically correct talk for: you won't reach your highest peak. The thought is usually a lot more rewarding than the actual act.

Random Stupid Sex -- The name pretty much tells the whole story. If you're going to have sex with someone you don't know just for fun, chances are good you won't have any ... fun, that is. There's just so much wrong with this idea I don't even know where to start. I have to come clean here -- I've always wanted to experience a steamy one night stand but the closest I've gotten was buying a T-shirt with a picture of a night stand complete with a lamp and book on it with the words "one night stand" underneath. Yeah, I know, pretty pathetic. But seriously, with all the crazies out there I'd think twice before having crazy stupid sex. Yikes, I sound like my mother!

New Relationship Sex -- This happens when two people have gotten to know each other, respond well to each other's needs and go out of their way to please the other person. At this point, women are still wearing sexy undies and shave their legs often. Men still suck in their gut and wear expensive cologne. It sounds like a win but it often goes sour when you find out that she's a crazy bitch or he's a conceited jerk. New relationship sex is often confused with true love sex but it doesn't come close.

True Love Sex -- This is epic sex providing climax and cuddle time worth their weight in gold. It's a hard find (pun intended) but worth the search. This brings forth two people who are intent not only in sexually pleasing each other but also strive to please each other the other 23 hours and 56 minutes of the day. Awesome!

Lazy Sex -- Who hasn't had lazy sex?! This is what happens when epic sex has been around for a while. It threatens the foundation of the true love status and should be identified and remedied ASAP.
Lazy sex is responsible for 52% of women venturing out of the marriage for sexual satisfaction. You can recognize lazy sex when neither of you wants to move around too much, get too sweaty, or exert too much energy. It's basically the "I'm here, you're here, let's do it" attitude. A relationship death sentence if there ever was one.

Cheating Sex -- This is hot and torrid (I've been told) and addictive. Many a marriage has lost its way because they were on the wrong end of this kind of sex. I'm lucky enough to have never been on the other side of this kind of sex and loyal enough never to have been the cheater. I have to confess that it holds a mystique that intrigues. But considering the cost of a family lost and a true love forfeited, I can't imagine that it's worth it. I've witnessed plenty of marriages that have battled cheating sex, none of which has ever had a happy ending.

Make-up Sex -- This sex is always easy. Both parties want to come together (When will these puns stop?) to make amends and seal their love. It's usually sincere, caring and hot. It also comes with loving conversation afterwards that seals their commitment to never quarrel again. That is until the next time he criticizes her wardrobe or she his drinking. Make up sex is almost always worth fighting for.

Mercy Sex -- Everyone has had to have mercy sex at one point or another. Right? The kind of sex you have because you feel obligated or badly for your partner. Yeah, it's not the best sex, but it's got to put you up there in the "nice person" category. Don't you think?

Empty Nest Sex -- It's wild, it's noisy, and it's everywhere. When the kids are gone, the gloves come off. It should be called Making Up For Lost Time Sex, but we won't quibble.

Alone Sex -- I'm not sure I should be talking about this as no one ever admits to it (really, people?) so it must never happen anywhere in America. So I'll just say that it's probably the easiest sex there is, no one to please but yourself and it's a pretty easy recipe for success.

Tips For the Ultimate Sex Orgasm

One of the most fascinating parts of my job as a sex researcher is observing which facts about sex men and woman are willing to believe - and which they aren't.

The most obvious example is the that only 25 per cent of women consistently orgasm during intercourse.

This is something that's backed up by research over and over again but both men and women refuse to believe it.

Neither of us wants to give up on the idea that the 'traditional' way of climaxing actually doesn't work (and men, in particular, don't want to believe their penis isn't all she needs).

  • Most couples believe they should be climaxing at the same time
  • Tracey says this rarely happens and we need to stop worrying about it
  • She offers tips and tricks to get you both in the mood

  • The other sex fact both sexes aren't willing to believe is that most couples don't have simultaneous orgasms.

People on the telly and in movies come together more often than they have breakfast but it's a little different in the real world.

    Here's why.

Roughly 75 per cent of men in relationships always have an orgasm with their partner, compared to only 30 per cent of women.

Men's orgasms last anywhere between five and 13 seconds, women's last around 12 to 30 seconds

Do the maths and you'll quickly see that no sane bookie would ever back the odds of both of you orbiting into orgasmic ecstasy at exactly the same moment.

It isn't just unlikely, it's ridiculously unlikely!

Yet in bedrooms all around Britain, at precisely 10.37pm on a Saturday night (when couples are most likely to have sex, apparently), there you both are trying to achieve the virtually impossible.

Isn't it more logical and less stressful to instead take turns to climax?

It's not only easier to orgasm one at a time, it means we can focus intently on making sure it's the best it can be for our partner (rather than losing ourselves in our own yummy but inherently selfish orgasmic sensations).

Here's some practical hints on how to achieve them:

Sex Education: Average Penis Size by Age, Ethnic And Ratio Of Men

Men worry about the average length of their penis and this also comes up in ladies gossip...'how long is your man'. Does the length of a man's penis has anything to do with sexual gratification? And will the deepness of woman's virginal determine how much can be thrust in? Some of these questions pop up in the minds but I guess the whole sexual satisfaction thing is different entirely to the size of genitals. Although, we hear around these days, that a Godzilla-size penis could get some ladies to Orlando faster.

Nevertheless, one thing for sure, if a couple can play right irrespective of their genital build., they can have the best of times in sex gratification. You have to seek what is best for you both in sexual activity. The charts below shows the average size of penis by age, ethnicity and ratio of men. See what group you belong to or check for your partner,..lol
