Jackie Chan’s Son Charged With Drug Offence

The son of Hollywood actor Jackie Chan has been charged with a drug offence and risk going to jail. Jaycee Chan, 32, is accused of sheltering others to use drugs and also indulge in it, despite the country’s effort to tackle illegal usage of drugs. 

Police found more than 100 grams of marijuana in his home in August and has been detained ever since, waiting for his trial. Jaycee was arrested with another, actor who was set free just after 14 days in detention. He has confessed to the crime, and his father says, he feels ashamed and feels he has failed. He apologised on behalf of his son and himself on what the act might have caused the society and admits Jaycee is a man, and should be made responsible for his crimes.

Ontario duo charged with theft after tweeting selfie with stolen liquor

Two people who snuck into a private room at a bar and stole several bottles of liquor were caught after they shared selfies on social media that showed off their bounty, police say.

The thefts happened Tuesday in Barrie, Ont., located about 100 kilometres north of Toronto.

The suspects helped themselves to hard liquor and started doing shots while taking selfies, Barrie Police say. They then took five to seven bottles and continued drinking on a back patio.

When staff found out, they approached the pair, who then fled, police say.

A Canadian driver who whizzed across 42 kilometres of New York City in 24 minutes has been convicted of reckless endangerment for a stunt trumpeted in a dashboard-camera video posted online.

Adam Tang, 32, wasn’t in court to hear Thursday’s verdict even though a bench warrant was issued a day earlier after he didn’t show up for his misdemeanour trial.

Tang, a Canadian citizen married to an American woman, had pleaded not guilty to the charge, rejecting a plea offer of two months in jail. He could now face up to a year in jail at sentencing Dec. 8.

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. says Tang’s “daredevil antics” put lives at risk.

Boyfriend Who Violently Decimated GF Lips Jailed

A violent thug who left his girlfriend with horrific facial injuries when she ended their relationship was today jailed for eight years. Chantelle Ward was convinced her top lip had been taken off when Rhys Culley bit through it after he went to kiss her.

Culley, 23, was jealous and insecure about the pretty 18-year-old when he launched the prolonged assault as he was about to start working away.

Jurors saw disturbing images of teeth marks in Miss Ward's upper lip after the attack, during which he smeared her own blood around her face and forced his tongue in her mouth.

Culley who has been in a relationship with Miss Ward for more than two years, denied wounding with intent but was found guilty.

Thumbsdown! Pakistani Policeman Kills Inmate with Axe for Alleged Blasphemy

A Pakistani policeman killed a man in custody after the inmate allegedly made blasphemous comments, officials said on Thursday, days after a Christian couple accused of the same crime was killed.

Tufail Haidar was arrested in Gujrat, a city in Punjab, for making derogatory remarks about the companions of Prophet Mohammed.

He continued to make insulting comments, enraging assistant sub-inspector Faraz Naveed, according to Rana Shahid from the Civil Lines Police Station, where Haidar was detained.

Shadid said that the officer struck Haidar on the neck with an axe on Thursday, killing him.

However, police arrested Naveed.

Quebec Halloween Party Turn Sex Orgy

 A Quebec ski resort says it will no longer host events like the teen Halloween party that resulted in several sexual assault allegations and drug and alcohol-related emergencies.

Friday's party was the third time the Mont Cascades resort in Cantley, Que., north of the Ottawa-Gatineau area rented out space for the annual Spookland party.

MRC des Collines police say they are now investigating at least three allegations of sexual assault, and they expect a fourth person they have spoken with will file a report.

Police spokesman Martin Fournel says one 16-year-old girl "was found on-site, half-dressed, and under the influence of GHB” — also known as the date-rape drug.

Love and Hip-Hop Hollywood Star Arrested for Attacking Girlfriend

Rapper Yung Berg is one of the actors of reality TV show ‘Love and Hip-Hop Hollywood’, but he is not the first to be accused of assault this year.

The 29-year-old African American rapper has allegedly been arrested following an attack on his girlfriend. Yung Berg allegedly grabbed his girl by the neck, punched her in the face, and dragged her by the hair after getting into a heated argument at the Gershwin Hotel.

 

According to reports, he was arrested and will be officially charged with ‘obstructing her breathing.

According to ybf.com, the suspected victim of the assault is a co-star called Masika because even though “the report does not mention the “girlfriend” by name, Yung Berg has posted several pics with his co-star Masika, on Instagram, and even posted the pic above with the caption “Bae” a few hours ago.”

A woman who appealed for money online to help care for her autistic son and disabled husband has been accused of throwing her six-year-old boy to his death off a historic bridge on the Oregon coast.

Police said Jillian Meredith McCabe, 34, called 911 from the bridge in Newport as darkness fell Monday to report what she had done and waited until police arrived.

"I just threw my son over the Yaquina Bay Bridge," McCabe told the dispatcher, according to a probable cause affidavit filed Tuesday in Lincoln County Circuit Court.

She described her son, London, and the clothes he was wearing, saying he was in the water and gone. Later that night, a body was reported in the water at a bayside resort, and police said it was the boy.

Andrew McCabe confirmed Tuesday that his sister-in-law had written an appeal on YouCaring.com, a crowdfunding website. In it she described caring for her autistic son and her husband, Matt, who has been unable to work since developing multiple sclerosis and a mass on his brain stem.

The appeal ended eight months ago, after raising $6,831 toward a goal of $50,000.

According to DailyBeast, the incident that led to his arrest happened on Friday, 31 October. They reported that “On Friday night at the annual Halloween parade in downtown Santa Cruz, California, local police say 29-year-old Sean Kory confronted a man dressed as a Fox News reporter. He allegedly proceeded to attack the victim, telling him he “hates Fox News” before grabbing the man’s microphone, placing it down the front of his pants, and rubbing his crotch with it. According to police, Kory then attacked the victim with an aluminum tennis racket. The victim, who was uninjured, reported it to police, who then ran down Kory and arrested the Santa Cruz native, booking him in the county jail. And then they released his mugshot.”

 

Unlike Jeremy Meeks, Sean Kory has no facial tattoos but he also has the same bronzed complexion and blue eyes, while sporting dreadlocks.

Amanda Bynes' parents quietly went to court and got a conservatorship ... after telling the judge their daughter has spent "alarming amounts" of money by purchasing jewelry for strangers.

Amanda's folks filed legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- in which they say Amanda is a "substantial risk" to herself and others. They cite her erratic behavior, including her DUI arrest last month, her shoplifting and her bizarre and sometimes violent conduct in NYC.

The documents also reveal Amanda is blowing through a shocking amount of her savings. Her parents say her net worth is currently $5,747,703.36. Of that, $2.8 mil is real property -- homes. Her parents say Amanda's only income is from her rental property -- $144,768 last year.

Amanda's parents say the gift purchases have been "extensive." It sounds like she's going into stores, buying stuff and just handing it out on the street.

A Minnesota man who allegedly bit and beat his infant son to death two weeks ago because he apparently wouldn’t stop crying blamed the attack on the neighbor’s dog but police aren’t buying it and he is now being charged with second degree murder.

Emery James Jenkins, 38, of Deer River told police that he had accidentally dropped his 3-month-old son on his head while in the bathtub and that the neighbor’s dog had attacked the boy while he was in a car seat wearing a monkey suit, according to CBS Minnesota.

The medical examiner’s office, however, tells a different story.

They said in the report that the baby suffered a skull fracture, blunt force trauma to the body, and cutting or biting injuries to the chest, hands, fingers, feet and toes.

Yet another young Canadian has managed to get away to Syria to fulfil his aim of waging jihad and has boasted of his exploits online, an investigation by Radio-Canada's investigative program Enquête has found.

This comes after news emerged that Martin Couture-Rouleau and Michael Zehaf-Bibeau — two men involved in the killings of two soldiers that shocked the country this week — had been blocked from leaving Canada over fears they planned to travel to the Middle East to join militant groups.

But an investigation by Enquête found that a young Montrealer named Sami did make the journey to Syria. His story was featured in a special edition of the CBC’s the fifth estate Friday.

Enquête journalists began following the journey of Sami, whose last name is being withheld, with the help of the young man himself — via his active online presence.

On April 2, 2013, a photo of Istanbul was posted on the young Montrealer’s Facebook page.

Sami went to Turkey to wage jihad. Easily accessible, the country is the main gateway for foreigners who want to fight in Syria.

It was a trip motivated by his return to his Islamic roots, which apparently happened in 2011.

Sami is part of a wave of Westerners leaving their homes in countries like Canada to join rebel groups fighting the al-Assad regime in Syria.

Omar Khadr allowed to expand his $20M lawsuit against the Canadian government

CFormer Guantanamo Bay prisoner Omar Khadr should be allowed to claim the Canadian government conspired with the Americans to torture him and breach his rights, a Federal Court judge ruled Thursday.

The ruling by Judge Richard Mosley means Khadr can significantly expand his $20-million civil lawsuit in which he accuses Ottawa of complicity in what he claims was his arbitrary detention and cruel and inhuman treatment at the hands of the Americans.

“Whether Canada conspired with foreign officials to violate the fundamental rights of a citizen is not a trivial matter,” Mosley said in his ruling.

“If anything, adding conspiracy to the statement of claim clarifies the nature of the controversy between the parties and facilitates its comprehensive examination by a court.”

The federal government had opposed the expanded claim, arguing among other things that international law bars Khadr from dragging the U.S. into his civil action, first filed in 2004.

Three US Girls Of African Descent Tried To Join ISIS

Three teenage girls stayed in the Frankfurt airport for an entire day before being detained, questioned and returned to Denver

The first indication that something was wrong was a phone call from his daughter’s Denver area school to let Assad Ibrahim know that she had not come to class, CNN reports.

He dialed her cell. And she answered. But, officials say, she didn’t tell him that she was on her way to Syria to join IS.

She was just late for class, that’s all, Ibrahim’s daughter told him on Friday, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, which filed a runaway report.

The American girl of Sudanese descent also kept quiet about her two girlfriends, Americans of Somali descent, who were flying with her to Turkey by way of Germany.

Those two had told their father, Ali Farah, that they were going to the library.

But when Farah got home from work, a visitor came calling, according to the documents. Apparently, it was Ibrahim.

Busted | Man arrested after jumping White House fence

A Nigerian man based in Maryland, Dominic Adesanya, (pictured above) has been arrested after jumping the White House Fence. According to police reports, around 7.15pm yesterday Wednesday October 22nd, Adesanya, 23, climbed the fence on the North Lawn of the building and got about 20 yards past the fence before he was taken down by Secret Service and dogs.

He's currently in police custody but is being treated in a hospital for injuries he sustained during the encounter. He was attacked by K.9 dogs.

The White House was on a lock-down for about two hours after Adesanya jumped the fence. President Obama was said to be in the White House at the time of the incident. Police also said Adesanya was not armed...but he's still in big trouble.
