The legend walked on stage, and the crowd erupted.

Bill Cosby: dressed in his standup uniform of sweatpants and a hooded sweatshirt boldly emblazoned with the words “Hello Friend.” Inside Kitchener’s Centre in the Square Wednesday night, the embattled icon had hundreds of friends.

“First of all,” he said, then paused: “thank you.”

Cheers and applause filled the theatre, where more than two-thirds of the approximately 2,000 seats were filled for a show that was reportedly 90 per cent sold.

“Secondly,” he said, “I live in Massachusetts. We are known to have cold weather.” Cosby launched into a slightly laborious, long-winded story about cold weather filled with one-liners and a fur hat.

That was it. The ‘thank you’ was the only nod to the fact that these fans were watching the celebrated comedian crack jokes in the midst of a spectacular fall.

Latenight TV Host David Letterman pulls curtain on holiday tradition

David Bauder | The Associated PressWith the curtain soon to fall on David Letterman’s late-night television career, the end comes Friday for an odd and emotional holiday tradition that involves comic Jay Thomas, the Lone Ranger, a giant meatball and, most indelibly, singer Darlene Love.

Love will sing “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” for the 21st and final time on Letterman’s annual holiday show. He’s retiring from the “Late Show” next May.

“I’m looking forward to it this year more than any other year, with mixed feelings, of course,” said Letterman’s longtime bandleader, Paul Shaffer. “It’s been incredibly meaningful for me.”

Lady Gaga Reveals She Was Raped at 19 by a Record Producer

Lady Gaga
According to Lady Gaga while speaking on the Howard Stern show, her attacker was 20 years older than her and he was a record producer. She also states that she went through emotional therapy to recover from the event.

The singer, who appeared on Howard Stern’s radio show, made the claim after the host asked her about the meaning of her song “Swine.”

Howard Stern mentioned that the song alluded to a sexual assault, he then asked if she’d been raped by a record producer.

Lady Gaga replied: “I went through some horrific things that I’m able to laugh [at] now, because I’ve gone through a lot of mental and physical therapy and emotional therapy to heal over the years. I was a shell of my former self at one point. I was not myself. To be fair, I was about 19. I went to Catholic school and then all this crazy stuff happened, and I was going, ‘Oh, is this just the way adults are?’ I was very naive.”

Business As Usual, Bill Cosby's Show Will Go On In Canada

Jesse Ferraras | Huff
Bill Cosby is still scheduled to perform three Canadian tour dates in January in the wake of a series of sexual assault allegations.
The comedian still has shows scheduled inKitchener (Jan. 7), London (Jan. 8) andHamilton, Ont. (Jan. 9) according to his website.
And contracts prevent each of the venues from pulling them, The Globe and Mail reported.
"The promoter would be the one to make that decision, whether or not the show happens or doesn't," Scott Warren, general manager of Hamilton Place, told the newspaper.
"At this point, the promoter has said the show will continue."
