A vicious Mexican drug gang forced some members to eat the hearts of murder victims as part of a gruesome initiation rite to root out infiltrators, a government security official said on Tuesday, citing witness testimony.

For much of the past year, Michoacan, a mountainous, agricultural state in western Mexico, has been ravaged by fighting between drug gang henchmen and vigilantes who took up arms against the cartels but have since splintered into violent factions.

A mid-December shootout between two rival groups that killed 11 people has reignited fears the government is failing to control the state after flooding it with federal troops and pressing vigilantes into a fledgling rural police force.

A mum in America has been charged with two counts of murder after the remains of three babies were found in the filthy, vermin-infested home she shared with her boyfriend and four other children. Erika Murray, 31, was charged with foetal death concealment, witness intimidation and permitting substantial injury to a child.

Her boyfriend, Ray Rivera, is charged with offences including assault and battery on a child and reckless endangerment of a child.

Prosecutors described the horrific conditions that four children - aged from six months to 13 years - were found alive in at the house.


Authorities said there were piles of dirty diapers, rubbish strewn everywhere, and remains of dead animals. The children were removed from the address in August after a 10-year-old boy went to a neighbour's house, and asked for help in quieting a crying baby.

A cruel couple who forced a five-year-old girl to drink so much soda and water after they found her drinking a soda they said was reserved for adults, have been jailed. They were charged for murder when the girl’s brain swelled from excess soda and died.

Randall Vaughn, 42, and Mary Vaughn, 59 (pictured above) pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and aggravated child neglect and were sentenced to 35 years in prison on Monday in Rogersville, Tennessee.

The court heard they made the girl drink more than half a gallon of grape soda and water in just two hours.

A 24 year old woman named Li Zhenghua, was discovered by a shocked nurse trying to eat her baby days after he was born at a local hospital in China. The nurse saw her eating the infant's arm and as she made to rescue the infant, the crazed mum refused to let the baby go. The nurse immediately raised an alarm and called other hospital staff who helped to rescue the baby.

According to local media reports, the attack happened at a hospital in the city of Shenzhen in China’s Guangdong Province. The woman had been found on the streets heavily pregnant and in labour..

Rev. Juan Demetrius McFarland of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL, has confessed to sleeping with a number of females in the church knowing fully well he has AIDS.

McFarland confessed his HIV status to his congregation last month. The church was very accepting of Rev. McFarland. But church members soon realized McFarland had crossed the line when he admitted to other transgressions.

“He fraudulently concealed from the congregation that he had knowingly engaged in adultery in the church building with female members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church while knowingly having AIDS,” said church members who voted 80-1 to remove McFarland as pastor on Oct. 5.

The resolution also noted that McFarland fraudulently withheld information that he had been engaging in the use of illegal drugs while preaching and performing pastoral duties and withheld information from church membership that he had misused church funds.

McFarland tested positive to HIV virus in 2003. His condition advanced to AIDS in 2008.

Montgomery Police Sgt. Denise Barnes told NBC News no complaint has been filed against McFarland and he is not under investigation

In the video’s opening, he implied he is of a higher anointing, and others shouldn’t try this until they can turn water to wine. This is in reference to a Bible passage where Jesus converted the drink for a wedding.

 

We find this incident absolutely appalling! Putting a congregation’s health at risk all to make a point that you’re of a higher anointing is reckless at worst, and egotistical at least.

Totally Wrong | US soldier beats his 2 year old daughter to death

20 year old Texas soldier, Dartarious Graham, (pictured centre) has been charged with capital murder after his 2 year old daughter Peyton was found unresponsive with ‘suspicious’ injuries in his home in Fort Bliss, Texas. According to police, the young father beat his 2-year-old daughter to death after he became upset that she had soiled her diaper.

They also arrested Graham’s cousin Robert Franklin, 19 (pictured left), for witnessing the attack and not doing anything to help the little girl. The child's mother Elizabeth Graham, 23 (pictured right) was charged with injury to a child by omission for no protecting the child and failing to report the abuse which had been constant before the fatal beating...


According to reports, Graham, who is a US army specialist, became very angry after his daughter soiled her diaper. He then took her to his room where he beat her for several minutes with a belt.
