...

The 2014 Miss Universe pageant held yesterday‎ Jan. 25 in Miami Florida. 22yr old Miss Columbia, Paulina Vega won the pageant and there was serious outrage not only at the event but also on twitter.

Apparently Miss Jamaica - Kaci Fennell (right) was too beautiful not to have won. She's really pretty but judges know best. See photos of the contestants after the cut

Imagine a world where a website committed to promoting Canadian arts and culture was outsourcing the job to foreign professionals, and then open your eyes and log onto the Heritage Canada website.
The Ottawa Citizen’s Glen McGregor noted on Tuesday that the department’s website is filled with stock photography purchased from foreign artists and used to promote “Canada’s cultural industries.”
“A search of images appearing on the department’s site turned up numerous examples of pictures purchased online, without any apparent regard for using work created by Canadian photographers or artists,” he writes.
Here is a shortened list of some of the indiscretions noted in the article:
  • A German photograph of a cheering concert audience found on the Canada Music Fund site
  • A Russian photo of moviegoers watching a 3D film on the Film and Video site
  • A photo of a group of young, smiling white people posted to the Youth Exchanges site coming from an artist in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Egyptian police man killed by bomb he's trying to defuse

The right pic was taken a few seconds after a brave Egyptian police officer was killed while trying to defuse a bomb left outside a petrol station on a busy road in Cairo, Egypt yesterday. The officer, dressed in protective gear (left) was filmed on mobile phone as he approached the bomb and filmed also as the bomb exploded in his hands a few minutes later (right).

Passersby rushed to his side after the explosion but he was already gone. A terror group named Ajnad Misr (Soldiers of Egypt) later claimed on Twitter that they were responsible for the attack and had been targeting police officers at a nearby station. These photos were shared on Twitter.

Lebanese star sparked outrage in the Middle East after she's ranked porn queen

Mia has been receiving death threats from Lebanon, Iraq and even Palestine after she was voted one of the world’s most popular adult actresses. Thankfully, she lives in Miami, USA, away from people who could really harm her.
"Doesn’t the Middle East have more important things to worry about besides me? How about finding a president? Or containing ISIS?" she tweeted after getting threats
Middle Eastern people are so mad at her that a few have threatened to fly to the US, haunt her down and kill her because she's bringing 'disgrace to her religion'. On her instagram page, one follower wrote "I am a Palestinian patriot and what you are doing is shameful” Another went as far as to write: “Your head will be cut soon inshallah”. See the interesting tweets and her pics after the cut...
