Details About Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin's Wedding and Prenup

Though Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have denied being married, it has now been revealed that they actually tied the knot last month in New York City but chose to lie about it.

The young lovebirds got married the same day they got their marriage license at the courthouse.

For the wedding, their preacher was Jeffrey Quinn, a member of the faculty at Nyack College near the courthouse. The witness was Josh Mehl, a friend of Justin's who attends Churchome in Los Angeles.

Justin and Hailey both reached out to lawyers for a prenup on the very same day they got married, but there was no way to get a prenup drafted and signed that quickly. So, they got married without a prenup and there's been no move to have one drafted now.

One source said Justin is so in love he doesn't see the need for a prenup even though his net worth is estimated at $250 million and Hailey is reportedly worth a couple of million.

TMZ reports that the couple still plan to have a formal ceremony, but it would be a ceremony in name only because they are already husband and wife.

New Democratic Party Leader Jagmeet Singh pulled back the curtain on his closely guarded private life, letting Canadians know Tuesday night that he is engaged.

Singh, 38, proposed to girlfriend Gurkiran Kaur, 27, at a private party Tuesday night just blocks away from the Ontario legislature in Toronto where he served as a provincial legislator for six years.

Singh surprised Kaur, an entrepreneur and fashion designer, with the proposal in front of several dozen friends and family members at a vegetarian restaurant where they had their first date.

Singh was elected federal NDP leader last fall and had been guarded about his personal life, but social media posts in December made headlines after it was reported he and Kaur were engaged.

The couple shot down the rumours, saying it was instead a "rokha'' — a traditional Punjabi ceremony held ahead of a wedding and usually attended by close family.

A UK mom has been given a 12 month suspended prison sentence for stealing her daughter’s £20,000 inheritance.

Denvar Bathie, 23, received a £20,000 inheritance, from her dad when he passed away. She intended to save up money for her wedding and a mortgage on a property, and wanted to make sure that she wouldn’t be tempted to spend it indiscriminately.

Bathie’s mother, 44-year-old Trudy Collins then convinced her to hand over her bank card, so she could keep it safe in the attic, so she wouldn’t be tempted to spend the money.

Trusting her mother, Bathie followed her advice.

Afghan army mortars kill 25 civilians at wedding

At least 25 civilians were believed to have died in southern Afghanistan after shelling amid fierce fighting struck a wedding party, Afghan officials said on Thursday.

The attack occurred Wednesday evening in the Sangin district of Helmand Province, the site of some of the heaviest fighting in the country in the past year. Afghan officials said they had begun an investigation of the episode, which wounded more than 50 people, mostly women and children, The New York Times reports.

“We talked to A.N.A. command, but they are denying it,” Haji Mohammad Jan Rasolyaar, the deputy governor of Helmand, said, referring to the Afghan National Army. “That area is a front line, but the incident is an unfortunate one.”

Rapper Xzibit married his long time girlfriend Krista Joiner on Saturday Nov. 29th in LA and a few hours after that, he arrested for DUI.

According to TMZ, the Pimp My Ride presenter was arrested in Laguna Beach, immediately following his wedding reception after he, his bride and their wedding guests partied hard at the St. Regis Monarch Beach.

An investigation by CBC News's Go Public has revealed that ministers from a group called the United National Church  have been performing marriages that aren't necessarily recognized in some Canadian provinces.

Newlyweds Casey and Jessica O'Donnell at first thought they just had a terrible wedding ceremony with awkward pauses and errors. But upon learning more about the man who officiated their ceremony, they're wondering if it was all a bad joke.

"It was brutal. The ceremony anyways. It was painful," said O'Donnell, who lives with his wife in a community just north of Peterborough, Ont..

After setting their wedding date, they were having trouble finding a minister who wasn't already booked for the busy August weekend this year.

Power couple Beyoncé and Jay Z have been the subject of a lot of speculations in the media this year and the most reoccurring rumour has been that the couple were on the brink of separating after getting married in April 2014.

Now Beyoncé and Jay Z are sending a clear-cut message to the world as they renew their vows and re-affirm their love to one another.

According to People magazine, the superstar couple, who celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary in April, recently renewed their vows.

An unnamed source confirmed to the magazine that Beyoncé and Jay definitely had major problems this year but that they have worked things out. The source went further to say that the couple worked things out for the sake of their 2-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.

We are certainly happy for the couple who have been on vacation since ending their joint ‘On The Run’ tour a few weeks ago.

There are speculations that the couple renewed their vows simply as a front and according to Sandra Rose, renewing your vows is often signs of trouble and when two people who were married for years suddenly renew their vows, it means they are desperate to rekindle the fire in their marriage.
