A-Listers Ryan Reynolds and Rachel McAdams Inducted Into Canada's Walk Of Fame

Ryan Reynolds and Rachel McAdams were among several stars caught red-handed on Saturday night, as they were inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame in Toronto.

The two "eh-listers" received their honours opposite five-time Olympic medalist and hockey star Hayley Wickenheiser, former Supreme Court justice Louise Arbour, members of The Band and guitarist Jeff Healey, who earned a posthumous tribute, according to 680 News.

Canada's Walk of Fame recognizes those who have made significant cultural or historical contributions to the country through their profession, with previous inductees ranging from Sarah Polley and Shania Twain to Wayne Gretzky and Alexander Graham Bell.

"To be here, standing with this group of people, each one of them more amazing than the last, is an incredible privilege," said Reynolds to CTV News. "It's a milestone like nothing else."

The Vancouver-born Reynolds — an actor best known for his performances in "The Proposal" and "Green Lantern" — attended the event with his mother, Tammy. His wife, actress Blake Lively of "Gossip Girl" fame, is currently expecting the couple's first child.

The 37-year-old also told the Canadian Press it was "unreal" to be in the same induction class as Arbour, who was among those responsible for the war crimes indictment of Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic.

Arbour, too, was appreciative of this representation of Canadian talent.

“The selection represents the diversity that this country stands for,” she said to the Toronto Star.

McAdams, who hails from London, Ont., is currently in town shooting the film "Spotlight" opposite Mark Ruffalo, Michael Keaton and Liev Schreiber. The "Midnight in Paris" actress couldn't help but share her joy about this once-in-a-lifetime honour.

"To have this kind of thing given to you by your own country, you know, it means so much more than anything else," said McAdams. "Yeah, it's good to come home."

Jason Priestley served as host for the special ceremony, which took place at the Sony Centre for Performing Arts. A televised edition of the procession is slated to air on Global and Slice on Dec. 19.
