Evander Kane is back flashing his money on social media.
The player for the Winnipeg Jets posted a shirtless photo of him doing push ups with stacks of cash on his back yesterday on his Instagram account.
The post, which was simply captioned “#pushups” featured stacks of money — in U.S. bills — on the Canadian-born Kane’s back.
Winnipeg Jets spokesperson Scott Brown says Kane’s Instagram post doesn’t violate the NHL social media guidelines, which allows players to express and be themselves.
Kane first caused controversy in 2012, when he posed with stacks of cash on a Las Vegas balcony, pretending the money was a telephone.
The photo gained thousands of likes on Instagram, but his flashy ways once again left Twitter followers mostly unimpressed.
